About Miika Nissi

Portrait of Miika Nissi

My name is Miika. I’m a software engineer and a father, living in Queens, New York. I’m originally from Finland, where I earned a Bachelor of Engineering with a major in computer science. I started working on Odoo in 2019, back on version 12.

I work on Odoo projects for businesses and for Odoo partners, and I contribute to the Odoo Community Association (OCA). I also sell a few Odoo apps of my own. Outside Odoo I’m a long-time Linux user, which is what most of the older posts on this blog are about.

I like simple solutions, and building on what people already figured out instead of reinventing it.

When I’m not in front of a screen, I enjoy lifting weights, being in nature, and going to church.
